Oh me. It is the snow of the century! We have been snowbound today and not looking promising for getting out tomorrow. We have had nearly 5 inches of snow and ice in 12 hours...breaking Atlanta's record for snowfall. For the first time in as long as anyone can remember Emory closed their outpatient operations. I did end up calling quite a few patients this morning to be sure they knew what was up, but mostly it has been a play day. Sophia walked over for some snow fun.
Connor was on cloud nine with her sweet friend over. She laughed and laughed. With snow every blue moon we really didn't have snow pants or even boots. So we stayed out just long enough to enjoy without getting saturated.
The girls loved sledding down the hill in the park.
After sledding we lunched together and made Rice Krispy treats for dessert. Then Connor and I enjoyed afternoon naps. Gotta love a true snow day!
